MINIMUM MOBILE DEVICE REQUIREMENTS
- Android OS 12 or above
- iOS 16 or above (we recommend using the latest version of iOS if possible)
Apple TV Troubleshooting
If you are experiencing stream quality issues on Apple TV, try checking your HDMI connection. Go to Settings, Video and Audio, then click on Check HDMI Connection. This will initiate a test between the Apple TV device and your Television to verify the integrity of your HDMI cable. The test takes between one and five minutes.
If you have a lot of apps installed, you may want to choose to "offload" the ones that you don't use regularly. This will free up storage space on your device. To enable this feature, go to Settings, Apps, and select Offload Unused Apps to toggle to On.
Fire TV Troubleshooting
If you are experiencing app issues with your FireTV, first check out the available storage capacity by clicking on your profile picture (top right with a gear icon), selecting My Fire TV from the options below, and clicking on About. This will display the device capacity and availability (under Storage Capacity). You can also "Check for Updates" under the About section, to make sure that your FireTV/Fire Stick is running the latest updates.
Google TV / Chromecast / Android TV Troubleshooting
To check your storage capacity on your Google Chromecast click on the gear icon in the top right to access Settings, then go to System, Storage, and Manage Storage. Make sure that you have at least 0.5 GB of storage free for optimal performance.
Roku TV Troubleshooting
While there isn't an option to view the current storage capacity on your Roku device (you will receive a notification if you are out of space), you may still want to clean up unused apps to ensure peak performance. To remove a channel, select it from the Apps list on the Home screen, and hit the * on your remote, then "Remove channel".
