Roku - Volume Leveling
If you are watching NESN 360 on a Roku device and notice that the advertising is louder than the broadcast, you can try adjusting the audio for the live feed by setting Volume Mode to "Leveling".
- During the broadcast, click on the * button on your remote. This will bring up the audio/captions menu
- Select "Volume Mode" and then "Leveling" or "Night"- this should balance the commercial volume with the broadcast volume.
Night mode: boost quiet sounds and lower loud ones
Leveling Mode: automatically adjusts volume to make it more consistent between loud and quiet parts of a show or movie

Google TV - Sound Leveling
We found this article that has details on modifying the automatic audio leveling on Sony Google TVs.
To level the volume on a Chromecast TV Streamer, enable "Auto Volume Control" in the Settings > Display & Sound > Audio menu. Additionally, you can fine-tune the sound by using the Google Home app to adjust the equalizer, or by changing the remote's volume control to manage the Chromecast's internal volume instead of the TV's, as detailed in this Google Help article.
