Overview
NESN 360 is supported on most major streaming devices, but compatibility issues arise when device operating systems are outdated or when a device is not on the supported list. This article covers which devices are supported, known incompatibilities, and what to do if your device is not compatible.
Supported Devices
NESN 360 is currently available on:
- Amazon Fire Stick (select models *see Known Issues below)
- Roku (all current models)
- Apple TV (4th generation and later)
- iPhone and iPad (iOS 14 and later)
- Android phones and tablets (Android 8.0 and later)
- Android TV
- Web browser at [nesn.com](https://nesn.com) (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge)
Known Incompatibilities
Amazon Fire Stick 4K Select (New Amazon OS)
Amazon released a new operating system update for the Fire Stick 4K Select that is not backward compatible with the current NESN 360 app. Customers with this device may be unable to find or install the app.
Workaround:
Watch NESN 360 on an alternative supported device (Roku, Apple TV, web browser) while the NESN engineering team works on an updated app version.
Samsung Smart TVs
The NESN 360 app is not currently available on Samsung's Tizen operating system. Samsung Smart TVs are not supported.
Workaround:
Connect a Roku, Fire Stick, or Apple TV device to your Samsung TV's HDMI port and use NESN 360 through that device.
LG Smart TVs
The NESN 360 app is not currently available on LG's webOS platform.
Workaround:
Same as Samsung - connect a supported streaming stick or box to the TV.
Older Fire Stick Models
Very old Fire Stick models (1st generation) may not support the current app version. Check Amazon's support page to identify your generation.
How to Check If Your Device Is Compatible
1. Search "NESN 360" in your device's app store
2. If the app does not appear or cannot be installed, your device or its current OS may not be supported
3. Visit [nesn.com](https://nesn.com) on a computer or mobile browser as an alternative
