Setting Up a New Roku Device
Connect your Roku to an HDMI port on your TV then switch to that source using your TV remote. The Roku device should try to pair with the remote that it came with, and you'll need to connect it to your wifi and register the device to an email account. If you use the same email as your NESN 360 account that will make signing into the app easier.
Installing the NESN 360 App on Roku
After you've set up the Roku device, click the home button (it looks like a house) on the Roku remote. From the home screen, click the right arrow to browser the apps then scroll down to "Add apps" to click on the + button.
On the apps page, use the down arrow to go to the "Recommended Apps" section - then click on the Search button there. Type in "nesn" and you should see the NESN 360 app listed. Use the remote arrow to select, and click the OK button to go to the app description page. On that page, select and click on Add App.
After it is installed, NESN will show up on your Home screen under the apps. Click on the NESN App to launch.
Register a New Account and Subscribe with Roku Pay
- If you haven't already subscribed to NESN 360 on the website, then you can do so directly through your Roku account.
- From the app start screen, click on Subscribe
- Click on Continue
- Enter your first name. The email address that you've registered the device to will be pre-populated in the Email Address field.
- Enter a password to use for NESN 360 (this will not be managed with your Roku account password).
- Click on Create Account
- Click on the Subscribe button to add the NESN 360 monthly plan. After signing up, you can manage the subscription through https://my.roku.com.
Note: at this time, annual plans are only available to purchase through https://nesn.com.
Register a New Account and Connect with your TV Provider
Go through steps 1 through 6 above. Then, instead of Subscribe, click on Sign in with TV Provider
Open a browser on your computer. If you're logged into NESN.com, you should log out. Enter the full URL that you see on the screen (https://tv.nesn.com/+6 character code) into the browser. You'll see the list of TV providers - select your TV provider from the drop down list, and click on Continue. This will bring you to the login page for that provider. Enter the username/password for your TV Provider, and then enter. In a few seconds, you should be logged into the TV.
Sign in with an Existing NESN 360 Account
Paid Subscription:
If you have an active NESN 360 subscription, then you can sign in with your username and password. From the start screen, click on Sign In. If you registered the device to the same email as your NESN account then you should be able to click on "continue". Otherwise, click on "use different email" then click in the email address field to enter your email - then click on OK on the on-screen keyboard. Do the same to enter your password.
Subscription through TV Provider:
If you've already registered for a NESN 360 account, and subscribeFrom the App start screen, click on "Sign in with TV Provider".
